The Board of my estates, decided to celebrate the annual feast of our housing estates and also International Children's Day which is celebrated in Poland on June 1 in the form of fireworks show..

By the way, I wonder if on June 1 children's day is also celebrated in other countries.

I'm an American and I've never heard of Children's day. It sounds cool though :)

As for whether or not I like fireworks, I really enjoy them.

it would be really neat if somebody could come up with a personalized fireworks show for inside one's house or apartment, projected upon the ceiling.

Everyone was delighted both adults and children, although younger kids a little afraid. Only ones who may not be thrilled are the passengers, our Wroclaw city airport, which halted flights for 10 minutes, the duration of the show :D

In general I dislike fireworks, because of them being horrible loud. The visual effect is nice, but it sadly does not make up for the horrible noise. :(

Air pollution is not that big, just a little stench of burnt gunpowder, which quickly disappeared, no big deal, the memories will remain forever

Besides:
Gunpowder: I love the smell of gunpowder in the evening :D

It's way too painful for my ears. Last year I felt like I was going to pass out :(

it would be better if they figured out how to do it sans actual burning/exploding powders, so at least I could look up towards the sky and not be in danger of getting painfully hot cinders landing in my eyes, which has happened to me on multiple occasions.
