It's been raining like crazy here. I could almost swear it's monsoon season here.

I wish it would rain, with thunder and lightening thrown in. I enjoy a good downpour.

I just answer with hanging where they usually are...there are only a few things that hang and given that I am a 38 year old female I only have two choices in regards to that. If you are male you have just one..unless you are overweight, in which case you might have two or four (nether regions, gut, and 2 man boobs).

Then I ask how theirs is hanging too.

Of course when people ask me such a question, especially a male, my first thought is of penis. Penis' hang...when not erect and aroused. They can be fun to play with but I generally don't make a habit of asking how a penis is hanging today. I do wish people would stop using that phrase for that reason alone. It makes my brain go to bad places.

It was like the time someone said they had some blocked pipework up their back passage when referring to their back garden drainage system....It was nearly impossible to get through that conversation with a straight face.

Have sympathy for me, she was being serious and i had to suppress a smile the entire time! No mean feat when you have a run away brain like me.

Stop it people please lol I can't talk with you and take the chat seriously under such conditions 8O

I came back in to this thread expecting something entirely G rated, and I see this!

Glad to know I'm not the only one that reacts in those ways. LOL

wrong-NTs dont have an exclusive ownership over language, dad is classic aspie-informaly diagnosed by specialists of mine and that is his favourite line along with 'hows the weather' to anyone on the phone and 'the weather is fierce bad' [fierce is irish slang for a word meaning something like terrible].
he gets into big conversations with all his relatives and anyone who visits him purely about the weather.
