I'm Hanna, 29 years old and live in texas. I was diagnosed at 20. Hopefully, it will be easier to open up here than with the NTs. M user name is a reference to a dancing lovebird video that many people said looks like the Pokemon Chatot
My hobbies:
animals, (bird and reptile friendly, I don't think snakes are icky)
cartoons I like the old school Simpsons. I think My Little Pony is adorable. I also enjoy the great cartoons of the 90s. (Animaniacs, Batman the Animated Series, Futurama, ect)
video games-I like playing Angry Birds of course. I want to get a Wii so I can play the old favorites. I have a 3DS but it gets boring quickly :(

Hi Hanna! Welcome to Wrong Planet. Check out the many interesting and helpful forums here. You won't have any problems finding others who share your interests. Unfortunately, I am not one of them. My interests are primarily reading, and surfing the web. I do like animals, but my other health problems make it too difficult to manage a pet any more. Also, I have become more sensitive to pet fur over the years. I do find reptiles and fish interesting to watch and read about, but they aren't my idea of a cuddly pet, so no reptiles or fish here. Bugs are even less attractive as pets. Birds are fun to watch at pet stores, but too noisy to have around all the time. I am also allergic to feathers. So, take away furry and feathered friends, reptiles, fish, and bugs, and that leaves pet rocks. They aren't cuddly, either. Maybe I'll just see what's growing in the fridge. lol

I like reptiles too! I have a couple of leopard geckos. My knowledge of snakes is vast, so I'm happy to discuss reptiles any time.

I've been to Dallas and Austin; I prefer Austin.

I'm sorry you've had bad experiences with NT's.

Hi and Welcome,

Lots of video games and cartoon fans here of all ages. Age doesn't quite mean the same thing in the ASD crowd.

I like animals too. I live imbedded in a small nature preserve and feel so very lucky. Its not like 'Wild Kingdom' with slews of animals or anything, but over time and with patience I can see many neat animals and creatures. Saw my first wild Painted Turtle yesterday. I see lots of frogs, toads, snakes and some lizards but hardly any turtles at all. Didn't know if they were just not around much or if I was looking in the wrong way or wrong places.
