This thread is dedicated to my idol, my favorite man, the person I look up to, obsess over etc... the late Benny Hill!

He is the one person I can really identify with on a deep, personal level. When reading books about him, it was sometimes as If I was reading my life story!

He lived alone, enjoyed a routine, kept largely to himself, was shy around women. I could go on and on, he is actually one of the few famous people I believe could have aspergers, as he fits the criteria to a T.

I intrinsicly watch his tv shows, studying his body language, his facial expressions and other things and have really learnt a great deal of how someone makes comedy, it has also helped me a bit socially.

I used to love the Benny Hill Show!! I have that kind of a sense of humor. I remember one of the sketches showed people at a convention and this busty woman had a nametag on her chest that said, "Pat." So he did. In another one, he was a vandal with spray paint. the sign said "Jackson's Tool Works". Underneath, he painted, "So does mine."

I wasn't supposed to watch it but I got up at noon and went to bed at 2 a.m. one summer when I was about 12. It came on in the middle of the night.
