I like action movies, cult films, documentaries, and some fantasy and sci-fi as well. I also enjoy the occasional cheesy R-rated comedy, though they do tend to get kinda old fast.
What I do not enjoy are live-action films aimed at children, and really stupid toilet humor oriented comedies (such as 99% of Adam Sandler's backcatalogue). Other than those two things, I'm up for almost anything.
Slow-moving dramas are usually not quite my thing, but they can be amazing if done well. One example of this would be one of my favorite all-time films, Gran Torino.
Being that computers are a special interest of mine, I'm a huge sucker for movies involving computer hacking, especially those of the 80s/90s variety. Yes, I even enjoyed Hackers, despite a lot of people panning it for its technical innacuracies. It's a Hollywood movie, what can you expect?
