A horrid crime, fortunately the victim survived but still messed up to do this over something so minor.

I hope those w*kers get life in prison or worse. This is the reason I like to be home by 8 in the evening.

Someone who tries to kill someone else "just for looking funny at them" definitely has something seriously wrong with him.

He was attacked because he was white! I again was not surprised when I read the racial discription of the suspects. When will you brits learn to close your freakin' boarders and send back all these primitive immigants to the african and middle eastern countries in which they came from! just because an attacker isnt white and their target is doesnt mean its because of the race-or the other way around.

in britain we have always had a big problem with scallies/chavs targeting people who are and/or look different,a couple of years ago there was a noteable murder;there were two goth youngsters who were badly stabbed by scallies;one of them died;am not sure of the other-just for being into goth culture,they harmed no one.

because am visualy obvious and disabled am a regular to scally verbal disablist abuse when in the community and have even been attacked by a gang of them with bricks purposely for being 'forest gump' [their words] on a regular basis despite being with mum,the girls in the gang kept coming up face to face shouting they were going to 'knock this forest gump out' for looking at them wrongly-they gave themselves to much credit;am unable to see people as anything other than objects that all look the same and dont feel drawn to looking at them,theyre like a part of the background, because of them am suffering from PTSD which is badly triggered in the area it happened,despite it happening years ago.

as for the original story, hope eamonn is able to get over this,and hope the little shts who cut him up are grassed up by someone,or even less likelier develop a concience and turn themselves in for the fact they targeted a innocent disabled lad who wasnt disrespecting them.
with their GTA in real life mentality,they probably saw it as another score to add to their lot.

That's absolutely terrible what happened to you; I'm glad to see that you've proven to be the better human being, despite what you've experienced.

Your attitude sickens me. My parents were immigrants as were there parents and so on and so forth. My family is a sort of convocation of people from the Caribbean Asia and Europe. My parents and my family are incredibly productive and have contributed alot to their respective communities. My uncle owns a successful bakery and up until recently my mum was an equal opportunities activist.

By your summation my entire family should be hogtied and shipped off into the wilds. Immigrants aren't the problem but attitudes such as yours indeed are. Consider the similarity int he way you responded to the race of the attackers and the way KOR's attackers responded to him. There isn't all that much difference.

Race is an irrelevant factor here. The attackers and indeed everyone else ought to be held to account for what they have personally done not who their ancestor's mated with and where. What a sad world this would become if ethnicity proved grounds for punishment.


Anyway that dirty business dispensed with the crime is abhorrent and I hope whoever is responsible is strung up by the thumbs for a very long time.
