You may remember me back in June when I vented ferociously about how awful my life with Asperger's was. Now things have changed and I've gained some good experiences. I have made extra mistakes which brought upon disappointments, but I feel grateful that I know what to expect later on.

I ranted over not being called for a job interview throughout May despite applying to 80+ locations around the city. This coupled with the lack of friends, added to my frustration and loneliness, since it's been 2 years after high school and basically everyone went their seperate ways not calling each other anymore.

On June 11, I got an interview at Pizza Hut as a delivery driver and ended up working until July 7, when I was terminated due to late deliveries, not answering the phone correctly until Week 3 (after being told twice), and slow kitchen work due to continually asking other employees how to do simple tasks due to my rigid lack of common sense. The 30 day probation period stated failure to improve performance within a set amount of time could result in firing. I made $450, including tips during the time I worked.

However, I started summer school at Pan Am University two days later attempting to rekindle the social skills I had before my depression which started in March until May. I'm learning to get along others better as training before I head back to Houston in Fall semester. Maybe this would help as practice to asking a girl out by learning to be a popular person in conversations.

I have never tried therapy for Autism/Asperger's since resources are very scarce here in South Texas, but I'll look into Cognitive behavior any time soon to get improvements out of it. Of course in Houston, there's no lack in social skills training of any type.
