I love them. I absolutely love them. i've owned so many over the years.

Les Pauls, Customs, standards, studios, Vs
Gretsches - Falcons, Gentlemans, Tennesseans,
Jacksons V's

Its practically an addiction. but i reckon NTs are quite obsessive about them too.

i wish i could make them my living, like working repair. but you need lots of tools, and a grasp of woodworking.

i have neither.

How old are you? Maybe you could apprentice under someone. Just because you don't currently have those skills or tools right now doesn't mean you can't get them.

I have built many, it can be learned(you likely have the ideal brain for it) and the tools can be acquired. I had no idea when I started down that road. Its the making a living that is the hard part, most builders end up using their talents to set up and repair in order to make a living.
