I hope that men and women alike will learn from the lessons of Operation DLT. Men - you are not allowed to grab the tits of any passing female. Women - if somebody upsets you by grabbing your tits you should scream out loud, knee the offender in the crutch and/or punch the offender in the face - do not wait for 20 years before you complain of your lifelong suffering. But if, like most normal women, you are not really surprised or upset by these unprovoked 'attacks', then, like most normal women, don't complain.

I really hope that 'civilisation' will find a way to bring a sense of proportion to the incompatibility of normal animal behaviour and the requirements of a polite society

I think a lot of these issues are also down to how the "assault" is taken. Some women/people will not think that much of another person patting them on the bum, or grabbing their whatever. But I think most people should realize that you shouldn't touch someone inappropriately anyway, not matter how the other person would take it.

Think about this carefully - Max Clifford was routinely approached by young females who were intent upon exploiting their physical charms in pursuit of a remunerative and enjoyable 'modelling' career. One of them was a fifteen-year-old who was enthusiastically entrusted into Clifford's care by her parents. He jerked off over the faces of some of them (apparently with their consent), and is now serving 8 years.

Dave Lee Travis grabbed the tits of a passing female who was simply doing her job, and has been handed a 3-month suspended sentence.

Me very confused...

Most normal women don't get upset when someone molests their body? Your idea of what a "normal woman" is makes you look like someone who doesn't really like women all that much, or at the very least has an extremely low opinion of them. Here's a better idea: if you don't want some women to get you into trouble in 20 years: STOP GRABBING THEIR BREASTS.

Whether someone waited 20 years to complain about something like that is irrelevant to the fact that it is not "normal" behaviour to molest other people. This isn't the first time I've seen you try to argue that it is.

MrGrumpy, how would you feel if I grabbed your testicles as you passed by my desk on your routine job business. Would that be okay?

You've not even met "most" women, never mind most "normal" women, so this is already an outrageous generalisation. You also have no right to determine how someone should behave after being sexually assaulted.

The legal process and juries determined that there is nothing normal or acceptable about these sexual assaults on women, and I'd advise you to stop hand-waving them aside or attempting to justify them.

Sexist thread is sexist.
Locked.
