So I am seriously considering taking the CHSPE, which, for those who don't know, is a test which allows you to leave high school early in California. I could go on about my motivations for leaving high school but that's a discussion for another time. For now I just have two questions.

Did anyone here test out of high school, and if so, was it beneficial or detrimental to your life in the long run?

When I say detrimental I'm speaking in terms of employment, college, etc.

I completed the GED test after dropping out of high-school. Doing so helped me qualify to complete the ACT test for college enrollment. So, yeah, it helped me. Besides, whenever anybody asked if I had completed high school (they rarely did), I could say "yes" because (in my state at least) completing a high-school equivalency test is academically the same as graduating with a diploma. But, I would recommend taking a few college classes, at least, after you complete your equivalency test. Good luck!
