Untitled

Falling like a severed kite
Tossed and buffeted, have no fight
No direction, no strings attached
Nothing to give, nothing to snatch

But I?ve hit the ground before
And got up to face some more
Of life?s tests and tribulations
Adaptations and accusations

I?m tired now... just want to rest
Can?t do no more, I did my best
Could?ve won this fight I reckon
If love had been my secret weapon
