Autistic Londoner Paul Wady presents a trailer for his now available 10 or so minute show to launch his forthcoming book, Guerrilla Aspies - a neurotypical society infiltration manual:

I do not undetrstand what the book will be about. If it's about faking NT, I'm done with that. If it is about coming out full-throttle with being Autistic, I need this book.

This is great...fantastic title!

Lets just say that the book will be so 'pure hard core Aspie' that none of the major publishing houses would be able to handle it?

Instead of being full on overtly NT alienated Aspie, you produce a book that trains us to bully, seduce, manipulate and know how to have sex with the rest of the world. Every sordid, bizarre, irrational, hormonal, emotional, neurotypical trait that the Jessica Kingsley books would never ever think of going near. Not how mummy wants 'little lambkins who is disabled' to be?

Does that sound like an ordinary autism book? Most of it is described as being 'for Aspie eyes only'.

There is a section that explains how when NT's and Aspies get drunk together, we exchange places and become each other?

It may be amusing too? It really won't be that pleasant for NT's.

When is the book coming out?

The guy doing it is taking forever!! !

I look forward to reading it. It seems like a lot of techniques taught to aspies to acquire social skills put us at a disadvantage in social situations, especially when the neurotypical isn't playing fair. I don't think constantly apologising for who you are will allow you get ahead in this world. Hope the book lives up to the hype!

lol the first thing I thought I was gonna get off the book was fighting techniques....but infiltrating the NT world sure does sound exciting

I am also working on a guide to make the festival bearable for aspies. That will appear in the next two weeks when I am there. Also an aspie meet up will be attempted? A daily time and place when people can meet up.
