It's easily one of the best new shows to come out in a while.

Basically, all of the main characters are absolute geniuses, but struggle to understand the world around them. Sound familiar?

They work for the government, solving problems (not necessarily crimes) that no one else can wrap their heads around.

I highly recommend this gem to anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

I refuse to watch it for just that reason.

Too many shows throw in "inclusive" garbage....showing a team of different people working together. This doesn't happen in real life all that often, and it only portrays a world you rarely find exists.

Why waste time watching fantasy masquerading as reality?

I have watched Scorpion, and I like it, but I wish it hadn't taken so much from the Big Bang Theory. Why not have a male "connection to real world" person instead of another Penny? The girl on this show is even a waiter just like Penny started out. The male government agent does not count because he is more of their job manager than a friend.
I also think Sylvester's character is kind of unneeded or perhaps underdeveloped, they have only used him for calculating or memorizing something, and he does not offer comedic relief either. He is also the stereotypical germaphobic genius you can find in many other works.

I hate the show passionately. It could have been good but with a different cast and if they drop the genius tag and the stupid IQ comments. The IQ and genius thing got old five minutes into it and is stupid and adds nothing. The guy cast as Walter is just wrong he doesn't look the part, act the part, and his dialogue is often inane and as far away from what he is supposed to be. The chubby guy would have been a better choice if you had to pick one of these folks. The moron with the hat is not only stupid he talks too much and has no real skill to offer and the writers struggle to pretend he matters. The only decent folks are the two girls. Also the scene in the adverts of the kid playing chess and Walter making stupid comments and saying he can translate? What the hell is that, chess like that is played by memorization not brilliance, the Hungarians proved that soundly. And translate, whats he going to transalte? his displayed personality is no where close to Aspie or even spectrum disorder, he is more like a narcissistic personality disorder with and OCD overlay.
