And so it is....

Notes: The order is not intended to be significant in any way. I had to combine some options because the site said my poll was too large, so I matched up the most similar ones (I think).

Would that be closer to Evangelical or none-of-the-above?

P.S. Seventh Day Adventist would probably go in either "Evangelical Christian" or "Protestant"
PSS I thought you would be atheist. with your whole "I hate isms" from the fundie thread what about 7th day adventism?

mmmyeah I think the evangelical christian category is confusing, it's a type of protestantism, as are Jehovahs and Mormons.

Also, I understand the correct title is 'Holy Roman Catholic'.

And what about Orthodox? I thought that was reasonably popular in the USA. I spose they'll have to go with the catholics.

nitpicking

I'm Christian, but there's a number of ways of interpreting the Bible. And so, I chose not mentioned because my beliefs are a bit different than any mainstream Christian religion.

I grew up in a Catholic family, although I haven't been practicing it much in recent years (mainly relating to issues with the family) but very much want to get back into it.

My prayers are with the late Pope John Paul II as well as with Benedict XVI, he has a TOUGH mitre to fill.

BTW, I would include the Evangelicals under 'Protestant'.

I am more inclined to be pagan in philosophy.
I am not so much in practicing it, but I did
when I was younger. I see paganism sees
god as 2 (a female, male aspect).

The practice of candle magick would be natural
for me since I am autistic. I find it heightnens
inner focus.

Sincerely,
Ghosthunter

all of the following are acceptable

-Catholic
-Roman Catholic
-Holy Roman Catholic

and Conservative and Orthodox are pretty much the same

but. I was raised Catholic, but i am unsure if am a true to the book Catholic.

I believe in salvation by faith alone and confessing sin right to God/Jesus
not a priest.

Or. Maybe i am a damned heretic who is going to hell

How does "Atheist" get put together with "Agnostic?" There is a very clear differance between the two.

All of the pairings have clear differences. Unfortunately, the board limits how many options you can have so I had to do something. Atheist and agnostic make a better pair than agnostic and Mormon....

Jehovahs witnesses, mormons, and evangelicals have nothing in common, I think you meant charismatic. =P

Fundamentalist Christianity fits under protestanism, barely.

Fundamentalist Christians are a form of Protestants.
