Agreed. In fact, if even that sounds to boring and/or you can't make up your mind where to go, try choosing your destination by some random means! If that's too expensive, try choosing a new hobby the same way, or keep your destination closer to home. Learn about something completely different at a local museum--you may be surprised by what surprises you.
Some people really get into simple stuff like redecorating or rearranging the furniture, but maybe a new job or career is more like what you need. justkillingtime's idea about volunteering is a great way to learn something new and shake things up. If you're single, the choices are likely wide open--take a chance on something, and if that doesn't do it, try something else! Treat yourself to something new--anything.
