Meh?Losing weight is a health thing, not an ugly thing. It's all about how you wear it.
I've known ugly guys who couldn't beat the girls off of them with a stick. These are the kinds of guys who send PUAs crying home to their mommies. They make up for looks through being these funny, Jabba the Hut gangster personalities while still being all-around great guys.
Losing weight is not difficult. Not pleasant, but not difficult, either. Just stop eating. Hang in there for a good two weeks and your appetite will go away. Drink plenty water. I wouldn't go more than 6 weeks. Resume eating normal food, but do NOT add salt, and keep your 3 meals/day to between 4 and 8 ounces. After about two weeks you can do pretty much whatever you want, BUT do keep in mind your body will want to put all the weight back on. This is a good opportunity to relearn good eating habits and start getting exercise. Personally, I monitor my weight twice a day, and it's pretty typical for me to gain about 8 lb. in water weight. Don't be surprised if you gain about 10 lb. in a few months, and don't worry about 10 lb., either. Worry if you gain more than that. Weight and diet, for those who have weight issues, will be a lifelong struggle.
And that's the hard part: Keeping the weight off. I highly recommend daily intermittent fasting, i.e. only taking meals within a narrow window. I prefer only eating during daylight. I do a total fast every from Friday to Saturday with some exceptions, and I eat a good meal on Saturday night.
Fasting isn't for everyone, and most people will advise you to see a doctor regularly if this is something you decide to do.
