I've always been creeped out by public displays of affection, which i used to call "PDA"s- people kissing or touching each other too much. Bleuurrggh- just thinking/typing about it makes me shudder lol. I dont mind it so much on tv, except when someone touches skin lightly, but where am I supposed to look if they're right in front of me?

What do u think? Are they sweet or disgusting? :)

Yes, I find it creepy and slightly repulsive, but I think that it is just one example of seeing/listening to other people and inadvertently learning details about their lives when I don't want to do those things, which is overall creepy and repulsive.

Look in another direction, pretty sure it would be rude to stare. Seen two girls kissing once, thought it was unusual since i never go out. I suppose it's a normal thing these days.

They annoy the s**t out of me. I'm always tempted to get some popcorn and start obviously watching, because if they want an audience, they can have one.

I have no personal objection to "PDA's." I think: "Get a room!" LOL

Love all of your replies. I don't think we should ban it or anything- i think ppl should be able to do anything they want but i just get this physical "ewww" feeling lol. Its probably just from not knowing where to look and feeling uncomfortable as a child. Its definitely worse if I sense they want ppl to look coz then i'm sort of an unwilling participant in their sex games ha

To me, I would rather make out on a comfortable bed in a comfortable room.

Next time I'm introduced to someone I'm going to go all public foreplay on them, because it's normal, just like shaking someone's hand is.

(I still won't make eye contact though.)

Monologue at them simultaneously.

It usually doesn't bother me, unless there are a lot of smacking or slurping noises going on. I can do without hearing that.

As a coping mechanism, I go completely overboard the other direction.
I just pretend (until I feel it) that I'm real happy that somebody has found love/happiness/delusion (hehe) for the short bit of time they're going to have it. What the hell else am I going to do? kick gravel at them?
I look and I grin, there's not enough love in the world anyway so let 'em have their brief moments of suspended disbelief.
It's cool that at least SOMEBODY on the planet is having some fun happy sexy romance and feels loved right now. (PROOF it can happen for us TOO! ...theoretically ...briefly)
It's the tall part of the roller coaster, be happy for them now because they're gonna start screaming the closer it gets to the bottom.
