South Park (TV Show)
Computers

Radio pretty much tops it.

-neuropsychology and ASDs
-paleonathropology
-poetry
-art
-calendars
-Garfield
-collecting books *
-collecting movies *
-cats
-Frank Sinatra
-serial killers and psychology of
-time anal and needing a clock (accurate) in view
-collecting ANYTHING really

Collecting books and movies is a constant interest of mine that doesn't wane. Garfield and collecting the comic books is reviving atm. Poetry and psychology sort of cycle. Calendars and anthropology are aside interests in that I read a bit about them but don't over-focus on them. Frank Sinatra was my big thing when I was 10-12. My cats interest preceded Frank and lasted for about a year and a half. Clocks I just need around me. Serial killers and the psychology of them lasted for about two years. And I was obsessed with studying and producing art in high school. It was my solace.

My main obsession is tuberculosis. I think about it almost all the time. I also like anime, video games, Japanese history, and dragons.

My obsessions vary wildly with time...... At the moment I'm locked into an obsessive CD collecting phase (sparked by HMV's recent "4 for £20 - replace all your old LPs that you don't really want to listen to anymore anyway, you sucker" offer, damn them :evil:), and a guitar effect pedal collecting phase (I've spent about a grand and a half on a bunch of new ones in the last month or so..... Mainly "boutique" stuff too - none of the usual cheap "Boss" stuff)

I am interested in loads of things ranging from HR Giger, death metal, history, Japanese art, Communism, Anarchism, Fascism*, guns etc.

*As in the stupidity of it and the very minor ways in which it helped people.

My fixations are:

The X-men ( I don't know anyone else who can accurately follow the entire Summers Family Tree (fellow X-geeks will get that))

ASDs (I have now officially read every book my public library has on the topic)

Books (Particularly ones with Dragons and Vampires, though not necessarily at the same time.)

Harry Potter

I would say:

-Any land-use planning and development related issues;
-Roads, railroads and other surface transportation issues;
-Maps and other geographic things in general;
-Driving roadtrips (I love just going out and exploring. "Let's go exploring!" Calvin Calvin and Hobbs);
-Current and historical government, political and economic affairs;
-Reading newspapers;
-News/talk radio discussions;
-http://www.wheresgeorge.com (kindof related to #3 above);
-NTN trivia (played in many bars/restaurants throughout the USA and Canada);
-Newspaper comic strips, especially Prince Valiant (I have the complete run of the strip in one form or another from it's start in Feb, 1937 to the present, all 3559 pages as of last Sunday), Peanuts, Garfield, Beatle Bailey, Calvin and Hobbs, Bloom County, Doonesbury, Pooch Café and Mallard Fillmore;
-Cleaning up the files in my .mp3 collection;
-Tall buildings

Mike

I don't really get obsessed that often, so here I go:

-Learning HTML
-Funny Websites
-Music (listening)

That's all the obsessions I have right now.
