I used to be scared of unplanned changes, by that I mean, I had a routine but was always scared that it would be disrupted and changed. And of people I didn't know, 'Stranger Danger' on a big scale. I also had a fear of being abandoned at new places. Doors left ajar, chairs someone had just been sitting on to name a few. :?

I was scared of a chandelier in the apartment where my family lived at the time. It looked like a glass barrel, with metal decorations on the outside. Still don't know why, but that thing used to scare the sh*t out of me, especially at night.

Shadows, enclosed spaces (I had horrible nightmares in small rooms), ghosts, crowded places, bullies... I have such a poor recall of my childhood, it is hard to know... I always had an odd fear with regards to swings... I had horrible images of the swing going right over the top and throwing me off.

I feared heights as a child, and I still do to this day!

Bullies, and loud and sudden noises. Sharp noises still startle me.
Abrupt changes to my routine sometimes still upset me.

That is still one of my major fears! I have had the most appalling stomach bugs in the past, and an incident of food poisoning that left me terrified of experiencing it again. It is not so much the vomiting as that awful nauseous feeling that bothers me.

I used to be deathly scared of someone coming within a metre of me when I was a young'un. As far as I can remember, the thought process was Pain=Punching=Physical Contact=Touching=Proximity=GETTHEHELLAWAYFROMME

Meh, childhoods a strange place.
I don't think I had a childhood, looking back.

...Bugger.

I have a fear of heights and a fear of the night... not Darkness itself, but the night. :\

I still have these fears, infact.
