Yeah, I've replied to a couple posts already, but to introduce myself, my name is Nick (I carry the nickname "Stickboy" among a particular group of friends, hence my username).

I'm 28 and was diagnosed asperger/HFA officially as of March 2006, although it was pretty much assumed that I fit the picture many years prior to that.

Ummmm, I guess I'll go fill out the question thread up there so I don't have to think of all the things to say off the top of my head.....

OK bump that -- the thread's been locked.

Let's see....

I'm 28 (DOB 1/27/79)

My favorite colors are blue, green, yellow, and black, in no particular order

I'm currently a teacher, although I am having second thoughts at the moment...

My hobbies are music (I play bass guitar and have been in a few minor bands along the way), and reptile keeping (I currently own 2 ball pythons, 2 green tree pythons, and 1 carpet python.... and of course I breed rats in order to keep the snakes fed)

My favrite types of clothing are loose pants with lots of pockets (cargos are best!). Long or short depending on weather, but if short they have to come at least down to my knee. Tennis shoes or sandals depending on weather. And loose t-shirts. Hoodie or jacket if necessary. I will, however, grudgingly dress up if the situation demands it.

Ummmm, what else?

In social situations I tend to be a "chameleon," able to become like the crowd for a time, before fading eventually into the shadows.

My favorite sports are basketball and football, in no particular order.

........

......

OK that's all I can think of right now.

~Nick

Hi, welcome. My ex kept snakes and other reptiles too for a long time and liked wearing that kind of trousers/pants. He was a dx'd aspie also. He doesn't keep snakes anymore though he wanted to start that interest up again when I left.
