The Oedipus complex by far is the weirdest. I mean, how can you experience a sexual attraction to your own mom and not be sexually developed? Even if you are sexually developed it still doesn't make any sense. Just a perve's wishful thinking.

I agree, I first heard of that one when I was 17. Women having penis envy.....this makes as much sense as men having vagina envy.

The Electra complex combines elements of oedipus complex AND penis envy, so I ttly win.

I know a guy who wants to have a vagina, not permanently, he just thinks it'd be fun to have for a day or so. And I gotta admit, having a penis would make pissing a lot more convenient. Plus, no periods! Yay!

Actually, according to the wikipedia page on oedipus complex, the electra complex is not part of freudian psychoanalysis. Then again, it's wikipedia, and I could have sworn my psychology professor said electra complex WAS freudian, so I'm still going with that one.
