I was really hoping this year would be better! So far 550 pound for cars mot, my boiler has broke down again already paid out 100 on it this year! So now have not heating or hot water! My ex has filed for a divorce..and really don't know why I am posting this as few of my threads actually get any answers at all and if they are so e are not very nice! Pfft..just well go crawl back into my hole lol...

I just spent $1,700 CDN in repairs on a used vehicle (on top of what I paid for it) that I bought that was in good shape (guess it wasn't in quite as good shape as it appeared to be) - so I can relate. Other really big bills this month too (not Christmas related at all) so I'm kind of bummed out about finances as well.

Plus it's winter in Canada and I'm tired of being 'effin cold.

There's a trick many West Indians do when there's no hot water:

Heat up a large pot's full of water to boiling, then add the boiling water to the water in a large bucket. Then take a bucket shower. Make sure you have plenty of towels for when you are drying yourself.
