Just wondering. I'm from Ontario.

oh, i'm sure there's quite a few! i'm not one of them though....from southern california. a very expensive part of it at that. one may call it a paradise, i might add. i don't really see it...i like more open, chilly areas.

most all of the canadians i've come across, outside the web were very interesting people. the closest things i've had to in-laws [ha] were canadian, of italian/english descent, i think.

For people in Canada, particularly Ontario, there is a charitable organization called Kerry's Place specifically for people with Aspergers/ASD.

They provide a lot of services to people like us, including groups where you can meet other people with the same condition as you, and they provide one on one counseling to help you get through the sort of life challenges people like us face- relationships, friendship, social cues, finding/maintaining employment, education, learning barriers, etc. They also help connect you with other services like what is called a "Passport funding" in Ontario, which is basically an amount of money that you can get for free every month to help you in some way with your disability. It can be used to-

Hire someone to take public transit with you to and from school if that makes you nervous
Hire someone to take notes for you in class if you are bad at taking notes
Hire an education assistant to help you through school
Grants for job training and education, etc etc.

It's definitely worth getting in touch with Kerry's Place. I'm really glad I found out about them.
