I know this may be silly but I do get very hyper a lot and get into mischief and sometimes observe the behavior of raccoons and sometimes I feel like I relate to them. Maybe I am a raccoon trapped in a human body lol I get get into mischief but sometimes i get into trouble for it lol!

I feel sorry for raccoons. Everyone hates them, when they're just innocent creatures trying to get food for themselves.

Their cute masks remind me of the Beagle Boys in old Donald Duck comics. I really wanted to see one during my American travels in a natural space and finally saw one in a garden in Austin, Texas. Wanted to see a bear too and drove around Colorado forests for a week though no luck, even though the rangers said the bears were around just then.

I love racoons. Sometimes I go walking around 5 in the morning before the rest of the city is up and I can see entire raccoon families cross the street. I think about how cute that family is all together. I guess that I've watched 'The Racoons' too much when I was a kid.

The only raccoon I relate to is 'Rocket' from "Guardians of the Galaxy".

I don't relate to them, but I've always wanted one as a pet. I think they're adorable little creatures.

you have good reason to be scared of them, they are fearless and highly destructive.

I have found that, yes. :alien: but humans are a tad cleaner and less likely to break into my crawl space.

Nope. In fact when I was younger I had what I now refer to as "the raccoon" incident when I encountered one at night during a camping trip. This was when I was still living in a home and we went on our yearly summer vacation. Almost everything about that trip was awful - it was almost like those summer camp skits that were on You Can't Do That On Television except the staff tried hard to make it enjoyable and the food was actually decent. One night we were having a party in the mess hall and I happened to wander into an empty room in the back like I normally do when in a place with other people - and there was a raccoon coming in through the open door. It freaked me out really badly and I ran screaming "A raccoon! It's there! I saw it!"

And then one of the other residents, a younger woman who I did not get along well with, started laughing and copying my behavior. This made me furious and I threw a huge fit where I screamed for what seemed like all night. This was before my diagnosis with Aspergers and everything just seemed to get really horrible after that. :(

Yeah sure, raccoons look cute and cuddly but they are actually wild animals that carry disease, cause destruction, and can be very vicious when cornered. But I think that raccoon was more afraid of me and since it was night he probably was healthy.

I don't exactly relate to raccoons, but I do think they're kind of cute. :) You just don't want to approach them or try to pet them if you see them in the wild, especially if they have their babies with them.

I was at a yard sale once, and I bought this cute porcelain sculpture of two baby raccoons huddled together looking guilty, almost as if they were saying, "What, all your trash cans are turned over? WE didn't do it!" XD

I also like the Canadian cartoon "The Raccoons," as well. I think it's cute and very entertaining. :)
