Did you ever tell anyone about this???? What that TEACHER did was socially unacceptable. You need to tell your parents about this kind of stuff. Anyone who says things like that need to be reprimanded. The teacher should have to go in front of a board of thier peers and face losing thier teaching privilege/license.

Anybody else ever been mocked for it?
She was probably suffering some sort of inferiority complex...that is often the reason people bully others for their differences. From sounds of it, she had good reason to feel inferior...she is.

If that teacher said that in this country, you could easily have her fired for misconduct and verbally attacking a student. Because THAT is socially unacceptable...not having a condition you have no control over! (sweet jesus that's like saying my eyesight of twice-legally-blind is socially unacceptable and makes me useless and dumb...WTF)
Ignore her. She's uneducated, and clearly has no idea what Aspergers is. Teachers aren't the be all and end all, they don't know everything. Often they can be as bigoted and abusive as the children they teach!
Don't worry. There are NTs out there that definitely understand. I'm one of them - I'm NT in love with an Aspie! Some of us out there know what it means, and are beginning to understand how the Aspie mind works. How we should interact with them. And how wonderfully creative and intelligent the AS mind can be!

get her fired... she has no place among impressionable young people... its people like that that are perpetuating bigotry... it was only generations before that you would be accused of being the same just for being black....

You should not be in the same room as this so-called teacher.
I have said things about it to the head teacher/princable....
......But no one believes me coz im just a pupil and she is a teacher.
Who's in charge of them? Also, you might want to consider a letter to the editor of your local paper. They are often in need of 'sexy' headlines such as "Teacher Calls Autistic Student Worthless". Sometimes, revenge is a dish best served publicly.
