OK, so I have started the thread.

Maybe we should start with discussing overprotective mothers and dating gamblers? Both of those are pretty toxic types.

After that we can discuss why females still select males as if they needed their economic support, when they claim they want to support themselves. That might not be so toxic, but it sure seems pretty maladaptive.

I have a female coworker who is 45+ old single, in a very senior position, she said outright that she wouldn't marry a man unless he's a millionaire - yes, she said that literally.

Good luck for her (she won't find him).

my cousin is like that as well...won't marry a guy unless he has a degree.

she'll most likely stay single forever as no one matches her standards apparently.

One time a girl told me a weird reason why she wouldn't pursue a master's degree in her major, when I asked her why she wouldn't she said "My standards for guys would become too high".

Like what the....

wow....that reminds me of a female friend who said she doesn't want to lose the weight, because the guys are ogling her too much already  Like she'd need a stick or a body armour to shield herself from the army of horny men. She wasn't all that pretty to be honest. :jester:

Lool :D

I would be really appreciative if someone would explain - why for men it's not insulting to talk about a dong, stiffy, tadger, prick, John Thomas, piece of pork, Percy or whatnot, but any fancy name for the equivalent female parts for some women is insulting.

i personally don't care if anyone calls it Brunhilda, Grizelda, beaver or Queen Victoria if they please. :jester:

Example of extreme toxic femininity #1, that was just minutes ago - Trolling expose a lot of things.

and then I clicked BLOCK

PS: FACT: Most muslim communities (Except Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan perhaps) are extremely monogamous, I personally know no muslim who has a second wife or a muslim woman who would accept to be 2nd (according to stats, less than 1%) . But I have played along with her assumptions....

I am sure we will see more toxicity with this experiment

You WP Ladies always tell me I am too paranoid about gold-digging, well...I have a very very good reason to be so.

Male and female gender roles are usually perceived as existing in opposition to each other, the one defining the other. I would guess that problematic aspects of one gender have counterparts in the other. The above examples of women seeing their male mates as cash cows reinforces male gender roles of identity based around being "the provider," albeit taken to an extreme.

The article in this link discusses some problematic aspects of female gender normativity.

I don't think I would need a man for financial support, but man would it help!

On the same app, right now I picked a random girl to chat with who has a boyfriend, and I am trying to lure her to go for the millionaire me.

She's still "unsure" what to do . (and she said he isn't even poor, just regular).

Too much love, really. / sad-sarcasm.
