Vaginal issue
I've never had sex with another person, but I bought a toy to practice on when I masturbate. I keep having a problem where the toy (it's only average sized) won't fit in all the way. Like, a couple inches fit in just fine but then it seems that my canal gets narrower at the point where it angles, almost like my vagina is upside down or something. I also notice that when I finger myself, I can fit three or four just past the opening, but cant push that many all the way in past the 2 inches or so. My toy is 4-5 ish inches but if I put in more than 2.5 inches or so, I am already hitting my cervix and in pain. Please note I can use any size of tampon.
I think I was told that I have a narrow cervix by one doctor. When I was born my vagina was completely blocked and it was half blocked at ages 12-14 but by age 17 and 18 it was normal opening. I also cannot menstruate without taking birth control because I have PCOS and my Risperdal gives me high prolactin. Please note that when I am attempting, I wait to be aroused first. I'm not just going dry or anything. And if it helps I don't have any insertion anxiety
i talked to a woman once who said she had I think it was tipped or rotated vagina/uterus. which from what she told me and I read causes it to be further down, therefore shallow, and be painful for intercourse because of hitting the uterus. she would only do it in doggy style to be comfortable. though guess they can reposition it. that said doctor would be able to figure out what the problem is.
sorry if its uncomfortable me being a guy, certainly is for me, but I felt I should share a possible reason since I knew of it. :S
hope you get it worked out.

I actually have a tilted uterus (tilted forward) and prefer to have doggy style sex for comfort. The gynecologist did not say that it made my vagina more shallow so much as that it meant that the uterus gets hit and it hurts. It kind of makes sense if you look up diagrams of the different positions of uteruses (uteri?). Some women have a uterus that is angled backward and they tend to find missionary sex more comfortable.
It doesn't sound quite like what the OP is describing in my opinion though. You should definitely see your doctor if you are having pain. I am a little confused by what you said about having a narrow cervix since I wouldn't think that the cervix would be an issue since it is located at the top of the vagina (where the vagina meets the uterus). The cervix is not penetrated during sex. Sperm move through a small opening--that's how pregnancy happens, and the cervix dilates to allow a baby to pass through during childbirth and some forms of birth control (the IUD as it is called in the US) and abortion involve a dilation of the cervix but under most circumstances things are not inserted through the cervix.
I've had some past issues with penetration and I would guess that what you are describing is a difficulty with the Pubococcygeus (or pc) muscle. This is the muscle that controls your bladder and is involved in orgasms. A lot of women experience issues with involuntary contraction of the pc muscle during penetration leading to discomfort or preventing penetration altogether. The reason why I think it might be this is that you say you can insert a tampon, which is fairly narrow, but that larger objects cause pain. You should definitely talk to your doctor because of course I'm not an expert (and it sounds like you've had a history of vaginal issues that might be related to your current problem). But you could also try looking into a vaginal dilator. It's essentially a set of dildos in different sizes. You start with the smallest and work your way up to the largest. I was not able to use tampons or have penetrative sex before I practiced with a dilator.

You should see a doctor concerning this issue.

I'm probably not supposed to be here on the Women's Discussion board but I just want to say OP, you should consider not taking Risperdel. I'm not sure how it effects women's issues but it really screwed me up in both mind and body. I stopped taking it when I was 25 and since then I've felt much better. The only regret I have from stopping it is that I didn't stop it when I was your age.

OK then. Just consider if it has a harmful effect on your mind. For me, it made me feel exhausted and demotivated and apathetic. When I took it, I went from getting good grades to getting terrible grades. I couldn't study because I had no energy. It made me feel to anxious to go to school for a while and when I went back, I wasn't able to put much effort in.
My friends went to university. I didn't have the grades to get into university and at the time I had no desire to go. I stopped taking it when I was 25 and switched to Phentermine for a while. Now I'm not on anything. I had so much more energy. Now I can hold a full time job and go to nightclasses as well. But it made me really depressed for a while that I didn't go to college at a normal age or get a job at a normal age.
For me Risperdel was like a waking dream. When I stopped taking it, I felt like I woke up from a coma. It was like I went into a coma when I was 14 and woke up when I was 25 and then I felt sad that I still had the knowledge of a 14 year old because I'd been asleep since then. I wasn't really asleep the whole time but it just made me dead inside like a zombie. I couldn't learn.
The worst thing about it was I got used to it. It felt normal. I thought feeling tired and having grades was just from being an aspie. I didn't realize it was caused by the Risperdel. But lots of aspies get good grades and have energy. I got good grades and had energy before I started taking it but I forgot. I didn't notice that my grades plummeted at the exact time I started taking it.
Prolactin might be good for girls but it wasn't good for me. Risperdel made my weight go up to 300 lbs. When I stopped taking it my weight went down by more than 100 lbs.
Risperdel had a lot of bad effects on me. Everyone reacts differently so maybe it's helpful for you.
