...to find a geology-related job in the Seattle area. That is where I want to live after I graduate from college. Forget Boise--the Emerald City is where I want to live now.

I have no clue. You can use job sites to find work in your area you got a degree in like monster.com. You can also find seattle websites with job searches when you type in the city in a search engine. Craigslist also helps. I been using craigslist for jobs and oregonlive. I also use monster.com. I also look in the Sunday Oregonian every week circling job ads.

Keep in mind that this won't be for another 2-3 years, after I finish college. I will probably stay in Texas for school.

talk to a guidance counselor/geology teacher? I know there are lots of jobs in the oilpatch for geologists.
