(Pure Speculation).

The clock is ticking

It's easier to put a perspective onto something that has happened than something that is expected to happen

for example 14:30, 27 September 2015, Elland Road, Leeds

United States versus Scotland, the independent nation versus the nation that attempted to rebel

on one level they are being punished for their current or historical rebelliousness, but on the public level they are traumatically bonded to the host nation, i.e. Great Britain. (Hence Donald Trump's campaign slogan Make America Great Again.) This same subtext can be seen in the Boston Marathon bombings of 2013.

the Japan vs RSA shock win could have been staged to create a greater magnetism / attachment to the game for otherwise usually non-Rugby fans (i.e. viral marketing)

The incident of Ahmed Mohammed's arrest is the calm before the storm. First thread some moral storytelling over how people over-reacted over what was alleged to be a bomb-hoax, create a somewhat benign and alleviating association with the current threat of terrorism, then create an object of fear over what was previously imbued with different characteristics (i.e. the harmless 'bomb' becomes the herald of destruction). The hashtag #IStandwithMohammed, IS = Islamic State

Shaker Aamer's release from Guantanamo Bay has been announced today, so some left-wing rags will sound off on how this is a positive thing, but soon this will be transmuted into a hate-laden discussion on how we shouldn't let terrorists (in reality a tortured and beaten soul) settle back into the country following a terrorist attack and how we must enact further systems of denial to oppress individual human beings. (cue the Secret Service sponsored organisations CAGE, Reprieve and Liberty attempting to 'counter-balance' the debate before and after his arrival who will be deliberately playing a poor hand).

You lost me!

Maybe others can follow the thread of what you're on about, and can explain it to me. :D

A genuine conspiracy theory must at the very least involve the Jews.

Nope.

There is no discernible causal connection between claims - the leading characteristic of crackpot conspiracy theories.

Wasn't there supposed to be an asteroid impact near Puerto Rico?

What happened? Did I miss it?

NASA says they know of no such asteroid.

Then the apocalyptic prophets were all wrong!

 Why am I not surprised?
