im curious.... i personally don't listen to music for personal reasons, except for piano and acapella music....

I don't have a favorite song, it would be really hard to pick one....but my favorite genre is Metal which of course has lots of sub-categories.

I like listening to eighties music, solely because it reminds me of my grandmother that passed, catch 22, It also reminds me and that I had to watch here rot away from cancer.

My favourite genre(s) are Industrial EBM and Aggrotech...and a mix of the two.

It is difficult to chose a favourite song, because I like the whole genre and I have many of them, but here are two:

I have way too many favorite songs to list off in one post.

As for favorite genre, though, that would definitely have to be progressive metal. I was introduced to it through Dream Theater around 2013 and have been a huge fan since. One of my favorite things about progressive metal is the rhythmic complexity - I love figuring out the odd time patterns in very complex sections. It's ridiculously satisfying.

My favourite song changes more often than I care to note down.

As for genre my favourites are glam rock, art rock and new wave. 70s music in general does it for me though.

Bands: T. Rex, Sparks, Adam and the Ants, Bay City Rollers, Roxy Music, Bee Gees, The Sweet, Mud, Queen, The Rubettes, The Beatles...

My favorite genre of music will definitely have to be "Punk Rock", specifically "Hardcore Punk"

So, if you haven't figured out already, my favorite genre is hard rock and heavy metal. I also like some techno and hard dance.

I don't know what my favourite song is, there are many.

If I had to give one right now, I'd say Mad Man Moon (Genesis).

Prog rock certainly is my favourite genre too.
