First: Happy Passover.

Second: Now that Passover has concluded, who do you think was the Pharaoh of the Exodus, and what really happened at that time? Let's debate the issues surrounding the Exodus to see what comes to light.

Third: What does the Exodus mean to different people from all cultures?

I agree with the possibility of extraterrestrial(divine) intervention.

"Elementary! My Dear Watson!"

You see the devil in his near infinite wisdom (second only to the Almighty himself) was
well aware thousands of years ago this debate would happen and he marshaled his legion of demons to inspire every kind of calamity to destroy historic evidence.

From what I have read, their are a few civilizations who have mysteriously disappeared. I have also read about advanced technology in epic stories of ancient india such as the mahabharata.

Religion Final Exam:
You are the Creator of the universe. Your chosen people are a tribe of nomadic herdsmen, presently in bondage on one of the millions of your planets. Their ruler is being quite obstinate. Keeping in mind that you possess not only infinite power but also infinite love, your best course of action would be to:

1. Cause the ruler to drop dead of a heart attack
2. Cause the ruler to fall off a cliff
3. Visit the ruler in a dream and persuade him to let your people go
4. Slaughter a great number of innocent babies who had nothing to do with the ruler's policies

The Passover/Pesach (פֶּסַח) is based on the night of the 10th plague when the Hebrew God sent one of his goons, the Angel of Death, to visit each and every home to kill every first-born. To protect yourself from this indiscrimate and unnecessary bloodshed, one had to sacrifice a lamb or kid without defects and smear its blood on the door post so the Angel of Death will passover to the next family. There is also a 7 day celebration called שביעי של פסח (Seventh of Passover). The word actually means to hover over guarding.
