What you think of The Open Door?
It kicks ass! 36%  36%  [ 4 ]
I like Fallen better. 45%  45%  [ 5 ]
It was very disappointing! 0%  0%  [ 0 ]
I'm just ticked that the one of the best songs on it, "The Last Song I'm Wasting on You," was a b-side, while "Call Me When You're Sober"--one of the worst--was the one that was being pimped the most 18%  18%  [ 2 ]

I know I'm not the only fan of this band here. What are your favorite songs, pre-Fallen songs included? What did you think of The Open Door? What do you hope they do for their next album?

I prefer the album Fallen, Broken with Seether is good too.

I'm waiting to see her with a symphonic orchestra, I hope it will happen ...

I like 'em about the same...I think that "Fallen" is more consistant but "Open Door" has some songs that are better than anything on it. I agree, it would be totally awesome if she went symphonic...like, if they had a huge epic album where every song was like "Lacrymosa." I love juxtaposition of classical/symphonic with rock/metal.

I like Evanescence too, though I think that Nightwish is a better classic/metal combining band. I´ve only listened to The open door, it´s a good album overall but I don´t like some of it´s songs. My favourite ones are white snow queen, lithium and call me when you´re sober.

Are others I like not on the latest 2 albums but cannot be bothered to look for them right now. I do not like the latest album to be honest. I find it too different in style to the others. Like Evanescense, I highly recommend Within Temptation and Epica.
