Anybody know of any colleges or universities (preferably located near a city, very highly ranked/selective, and with a smart student base) that have had a lot of aspergers success stories?

i imagine the best college for a person with aspie traits is one located in a semirural area, far from loud a nd sense urban planning yet close enough that transportation to the city isn't a nightmare. small enough class sizes for individual attention but also just big enough, if you don't want to get too intimate.

There are a few colleges fitting that description I can think about (the make or break would be campus size):

If you prefer a large-ish campus size:

- University of Chicago (watch out for the inordinate essay prompts)
- Carnegie Mellon

If you think a smaller campus would help:

- Swarthmore
- Harvey Mudd
- Macalester

I am not sold on Macalester's successes with autism but otherwise would fit what you want.
