On the way down from the (closing for next two weeks) computer lab to the library , I stopped to rest ~ and cry/whine/man ~ on a support , o this horrid rainy day .
Someone came along and spanked ~ hit ~ my posterior , hit my fanny !
I yelled at him " I hate you ! I hope you die ! " but there was nothing I could do abaout it ~ I was helpless :( ~ Just as I always am  .
I want to cry & howl nd whine some more , but back at the shelter , I am out in the open, I cannot do that .
I just want the chance to moan & cry & whine , alone with something else on covering up the volume , ut that is impossible :( .
I received some " homeless gifts " of some socks + a scarf?? to-day , I left it for someone else to get it .
I just want to cry & howl & moan , sometimes I go into an elevator and close the doors so I can have a fewe sesonds anyway of letting it all hang out :( .

That was weird! Hitting you on the fanny!

I know you feel violated and all.

You should have kept the socks and the scarf.

Go to a police station, and report it.

I'm so sorry for you and everyone else that has to deal with idiots bothering them. (In my personal experience), I seems like it all of a sudden started around 3 years ago that people just started bothering other people in public! WTF?! All it takes is a tiny amount of self-control and ethics to mind your own business and leave other people alone!

Sorry if I hijacked the thread a little; it was actually on my mind before reading this.

I agree with BAP buddy. I've been screamed at three times in the past 3 years in grocery stores, twice just for saying "excuse me" when people were blocking the aisles.

My theory is: the internet/Facebook/other forms of social media/comment sections/etc. got started getting so integrated with people's identities and real life (a lot of comment sections even use a person's real name from FB) a couple years ago, that they don't even try to keep what was once anonymous "online idiocy" from spilling into "real life" anymore. I'm not against social media or anything like that per se, but there's always people that don't handle things properly.

Don't take it personally. Something was clearly wrong with that person, because no appropriate person would do something like that! He probably hits lots of people and gets into trouble for it all the time.

I think we are seeing more and more people go out into the world without basic manners because of the breakdown of the family. Everyone comes from a home that was broken by divorce because the parents couldn't even treat each other civilly. In the chaos of going back and forth between two homes, where is the time and stability to learn to just relax, conduct yourself calmly, and be polite?
