Brilliant idea. I want two, one for me and one for my brother.

My advise, call the guitar company directly or email them if they don't have a number. Don't bother with Autism Speaks, they don't deserve the honor. Pitch your idea to the guitar company and come up with a logo together with them. I hope this works. That would be awesome. Please keep us posted.

Hi, it has a Saphire blue see through body with blue LEDs so it glows. And it has a DNA strand on the neck inlay. And I custom named it "The Aspie" where the brand name would be. Its styled after a Steve Vai guitar. but no one has seen one quite like it compared to his others even. :) im tryin to get Ibanez guitars and Steve Vai's attention cause to take interest in it cause every one says its and Inspirational instrument to channel ones passion and soul through. also kinda makes it more unique cause I (an Aspie) designed it. ended up spending $1,800 on this project! I added a URL to my guitar page on Facebook. check it out. :)

I would email as many guitar player as you can (including a link in this post to all Ibanez players) and include a YouTube video of your guitar being played. If you can get a famous guitar player to play it on stage and talk about your invention that would be huge.

I read that Dan Spitz (former Anthrax guitar player) is an autism advocate. You might try to find guitar players who are behind the cause and contact them.

Best of luck.

Here is the email contact page. It's for US residents only though. Are you in the US?
