Frequently when I Google a topic the results show the exact info I am looking for is on the Quora website. Since I am not a member I am not able read it.

Is anyone here a member? It seems to be an usual website. The User Content section in Terms of Service is so huge it comes across as being a bit intimidating. Huh? That totally doesn't make any sense.

Here's something really strange: I went back to the site, don't remember which page, and found my name on the upper right hand corner. I don't remember joining it. So of course I don't have any clue what my password is and can't figure out how to change it. There's no info on how to change it.

Is there anyone here who is a member who could help me?

I am not a member, but I see they use Google-login. When you are logged into Google, your login can transfer to this site.

I love Quora. It's a Q & A site. You can ask a question about anything and get answers from other users fast. Many of those users will be experts.

Or you can just browse things you're interested in.

I don't understand the User Content legal thing. It doubt that you have to worry about it.

Quora is good, Answerbag is better fun.

I like it pretty well.

You can use Quora quite 'normally' with a browser addon called Umatrix. You simply disable Quora's cookies from the Umatrix interface, then you can read as many threads as you like without signing up, logging in or using a Google account.

Quora is OK. There's a tendency though for people to want to show off their intelligence while not actually answering your question .

Lately, Quora has been p!ssing me off to no end. It, like FakeBook and this site, has gotten so politicized and monetized that it has become worse than worthless. Their censorbots are a bit on the extreme side. If you think the moderators on WP are supposedly corrupt, the censorbots on Quora will absolutely delete your comment is the censorbots deem your post to not be nice and reasonable.

If you’re looking unbiased, factual answers, Quora sure as hell is not the place.

I spend a lot of time on Quora, but carefully: there are certain writers I follow and trust, and the rest I dismiss because most of times it's BS.

Also, just like in real life IMO, you should avoid any political topic. Quora is for science I think, other topics are full of trolls.

I've heard, and read good-things about Quora.

My only (slight) reservation with participating on 'Quora' is that the some of the content I process as a data-analyst is worthy of paid-work projects - hence, I would be giving-away potentially valuable work for free on Quora!
