Hi everyone, im currently studying electrical engineering (half way through my bachelors degree) and recently got diagnosed with aspergers syndrome + ADHD.
Im currently on my winter break and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions / ideas or just general experiences that helped them, in creating an efficient study environment?

I live in a small apartment so my study environment is limited to 8 or so square meters (86 square meters according to google).

Im especially wondering about things like:
Is it beneficial to sit near a window, or does that just create distractions?
Would a desk that can transisiton from sitting to standing be beneficial?
Any particular color schemes to consider or stay away from?
Lighting?
How important is it to stay away from clutter?

If anyone has any "This worked for me" or "That was the worst thing i ever tryed" stories, i would love to hear about them!
Thank you.
P.S before anyone suggest doing all my studying at my university, i live 45 minutes away and must take 3 different types of public transportation to get there, so on the days were i dont have classes its not really feasible to go there.

I like to sit next to a window for natural light.
I like big desk to have room for my computers, books, and papers.
Other than these, I have few other needs when it comes to studying.
Decor isn't important to me, as I don't notice it when I get into the flow of working on things.
Keeping the area uncluttered is a good idea, unless you find that you work best with mess.

I prefer not to be at home, too much to distract me. I either go to a quiet coffee shop and put in ear buds, or get a coffee and go to a local library . I have to sit by a window, I absolutely don't like not having a window in the room. I try to sit with my back to the wall, I don't like people behind me. And I usually travel at least 20 mins by car, or at least one bus ride away to resist the temptation to go home- which I don't like to leave to begin with. If I start to get anxious in the place I have chosen I will leave and go to another place. If it's warm outside I generally go to a library, coffee shops are louder in warm weather.
