Hi, I am saving up for a Wii U. So far, I plan to buy Mario Kart 8, Super Mario Maker, and Splatoon (Maybe captain toad or yoshi). Do you have any suggestions for games? I love puzzle games the most but I also love online multiplayer games.

Some of the best in my library:

Lego City Undercover: It may not seem it, but this game will give you hours of enjoyment.

The Wonderful 101: A bit quirky but many will find it up their alley.

Super Smash Bros.: For when you need to relax and have fun smacking your friends around.

Bayonetta 2: One of the big exclusives for the console.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Another big exclusive recently released and also one of the few big RPGs if you're into that sort of thing.

Hyrule Warriors: Dynasty Warriors action with LoZ characters.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate: If you're into Monster Hunter this will be your pick for the system.

The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD: Yeah it's an HD remake but it is a good game and they did deal with one of the most annoying parts of the game too to make it less tedious so points there.

To me, your best multiplayer packages on the Wii U are Splatoon and Super Smash Bros. - both of which also have their unique single-player experiences, by the way.

I'll second this :)

One thing I will say if you played Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii the game structure is very similar so if you liked that you will like this.

It's worth noting that Splatoon's single-player is very short. The game's focus really is on the multiplayer, the single-player mostly seems to serve to just get you fully used to the game before diving into battles with other players.

Some of the best games in my opinion are: Super Mario 3D World, Bayonetta 2, New Super Mario Bros U, Super Mario Maker, Splatoon, Mario Kart 7, The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD, Xenoblade Chronicles X.
