Booked in for assessment. I'm a little nervous.

I booked in for an appointment first thing next week for an assessment. I don't know why but now that it is organised I'm nervous. Did any other adult diagnosed aspie's feel this way? What should I expect? I'm afraid I'll forget something in nervousness. Or I'll mess up some how. I've always dreaded big conversations events. How do you all feel about telling people about the results?
