Never heard of the movie.

But, for some reason, I'm thinking it's about the Mormons in recent times.

Hehe. Yes. It is a gay movie about a Mormon missionary who, while serving his mission, meets a sex-obsessed young man in West Hollywood, and they end up changing each others' lives ... with some help from Jacqueline Bisset. Eight out of 10 scenes are made-for-cable quality (think Queer As Folk), but the remaining scenes (with Bisset and a few music videos) are worth it.

I've just read several synopsis and while it appears gay-positive (if a bit laden with 2004 era stereotypes), it also hits a bit too close to home for too many people I know. At least it would appear the director made it from the right place in his heart:

"...there is a massive irony, both in the film and in real life, that a religion so focused on the family and its importance is ripping families apart through its teaching on homosexuality" -Director C. Jay Cox
