I pulled an early AF on my mum yesterday. She's booked the private swimming pool for tomorrow, and I told her I didn't want to go anymore. Dad joked she almost had a heart failure :lol:

Whether such news is intended as a joke or not, it nearly always turns out to be false.

Most people who threaten to leave seem to do so solely for the attention; and those who actually do leave after announcing their imminent departure almost always end up coming back.

If someone really wants to leave, then they usually just leave without any announcement or drama.

Agreed. We've known members to do either of these methods of departure.
