like many of (probably) you, I am on the spectrum (Asperger to be precise).
I was diagnosed at the age of 6 or 8. My parents were pretty cool about it, they told me that after my diagnosis. I was diagnosed when the DSM-IV was still around so I was diagnosed with Asperger instead of high-functioning autism.
And for some time I hated to be different to be weird. I remember a time when I hated hearing the word "Asperger" or "autistic" (I still kinda hate the last one because of it wideness and the idea ppl have when the word is used). 1.5 years ago I discovered the r/asperger wich
gradually changed my opinion on my AS and that ASD wasn't (for me at least) a disability it was a difference. And as evolution shows, diversity is good.

My interest includes "computer science" and mathematics and cinema & tv (pretty cliche I know). I speak Spanish French and English. I am kinda trying to learn german. my hardware isn't that impressive or relevant (it is a good old i3), I run Debian Jessie Gnu/Linux my GUI is gnome my shell is bash. I have edited my .bashrc so I have a "custom" shell. I am also experimenting with "docker" wich is a

(according to Wikipedia).

I also a little bit interested in cryptography. I am also interested in philosophy and politics, I am interested in modern political punk. like "p*ssy riot".

I am currently an academic failure. I am 13 years old.

Welcome! I am sort of like you. When I first got diagnosed I didn't want to be different, and I rejected the idea that Asperger's was a form of autism. But now I have come to accept my autism and be proud of it. Hope you enjoy this forum.

Dang, we have a lot in common. I was diagnosed with Asperger's at age 6 and I hated it/was in denial until recently. We also share a lot of interests (refer to my forum signature), and besides the stuff listed there I do find politics, cinema, cryptography, and philosophy interesting too (it's not as cool as orbital mechanics though). Unfortunately I am an academic failure too.

Anyway, welcome to the forum and feel free to PM me if you want to talk about stuff.

I like your thinking that ASD can be a difference and not a disability because differences can be good. Sounds like you have an amazing talent for languages! That could take you places in the world, literally!

I am also kinda interested in orbital mechanics, I am interested in space in general.
two or three years ago I remember discovering Star Trek it was like a waking call about the universe beauty and it endlessness.

have you read "orbital mechanics for engineering students" I have read two or three pages and it seems cool, plus you can have the pdf for free online.

I can definitely see that you are a Trekkie with your location being the planet Vulcan. I laughed pretty hard at that. I too love Star Trek, although what I love more is media that accurately portrays space travel like The Martian (even though the book is much better then the movie). Science fiction is by far my favorite genre, and when it takes place in space that's even better.

Do you by chance do any gaming? If so, what games do you play? I play many space games like Space Engineers, Kerbal Space Program, Take On Mars, and stuff like that. I am also very hyped for the release of Outer Wilds this summer.

I don't play as much as before I moved to Linux (I used windows for a long time).
But I have played KSP and Take on Mars. KSP an amazing game, I have 30h in total. I have also modded a little bit KSP installing stuff like mechJeb and KW rocketry. I have kinda also played Take on mars but I can't make the map editor work, plus as far as I know there is no sandbox mode.

I have also the star citizen aurora package with the hangar, I don't know if I will have access to squadron 42 (the story mode, star citizen is an MMO). I am hyped for the release of "No Man's Sky" it is

I mod Kerbal Space Program a lot. My favorite mods are TAC life support, remote tech, Kerbal construction time, real plume, visual enhancements, and Kerbal alarm clock. Just yesterday I was working an assembling a new modpack for version 1.1. I also love the Dark Multi Player (DMP) mod and I have a server set up.

I just looked into No Man's Sky and I must say it looks awesome. I don't know if I will get it unless I could captain one of those larger vessels. It seems to have a lot of similarities to Space Engineers, although it seems to have a greater emphasis on exploration while Space Engineers (as the name suggests) is largely about engineering.

I also have looked into Star Citizen, although I want to see where it goes before I put any money into it.

I don't know how involved you are with the development of Take On Mars, but it's really coming along and they have a new set of features coming out each month. I have messed around in the editor quite a lot and I have gotten it to work just fine. Currently in the manned mission mode the 3D printer you have is officially called the creative mode 3D printer because it doesn't consume any resources and it just churns out stuff for free. For larger scale stuff, the editor is the closest thing there is to creative mode. If you want to slowly go insane alone on Mars with me then feel free to send me a Steam friend request, my Steam name is mikeman7918.

Well, "mr" probably means mister and "01010110" is the ASCII code for V. Does V stand for Vulcan? I think that's reasonable given what you put from your location. I will guess that your username means mister Vulcan. Am I right?

01010110 is also 86 in decimal and 56 in hexadecimal, so one of those numbers might have some significance.
