Hey guys,

Has anyone played this game? Not to sound like and advertisement but the humble bundle has it for a dollar here. The money goes to charity but aside from that heads up. I find this game oddly addictive. Its native to Linux which is a plus for me and its actual quite clever. I got past the forest world and am doing the forest challenges. I would like to hear some other opinions on this game, I can't get over the incredible dumb title. Was that the best they could think of?

Lots of creativity in a game called The Boy and his Blob. I was expecting and hour of entertainment max but this game is amazing actually. Two hours in and still three more worlds left.

Here is a video,

Also Shantae: Risky's Revenge isn't too bad in that humble bundle either. I am happy with paying a dollar for these games.

Wow, talk about old school. I remember my father coming home from one of his long distance business trips and he had bought this game for me on NES.

I don't think I ever got beyond the early stages of the game, but I do remember it well.

I did as a kid, then forgot about it. I think I actually downloaded it a few years ago.

It's an alright game. The game in Humble Bundle is the new Boy and His Blob game that used to be exclusive to the Nintendo Wii for a bit.

Oh wow I didn't realize it was older game, check that out. I am digging the new version, I give it at least a 8/10. Its solid and good fun.

I bought it the other day...always been meaning to pick it up, since I liked the original, and the remake is by WayForward, but the Wii version was a little pricey.

I've heard, like Duck Tales, that WayForward dumbed it down for kids, though =/ I guess I'll find out.

It was inevitable that this one would get dumbed down. If you ever played the original, you probably know what I mean. That game could be confusing as heck and sure as heck didnt hold your hand in any way. I dont think I ever got through the original version as a kid.... I really should have a go at it sometime.

I wanted to get the games for NES (A Boy and His Blob: Trouble on Blobolonia) and Gameboy (The Rescue of Princess Blobette) as it seemed fun, but I never did. I had no idea it had been re-released. Maybe I'll get to play it this time around.

Well I have been playing Lichdom: Battlemage and Shantae: Risky's Revenge along with The Boy And His Blob and the The Boy And His Blob wins hand down compared to those two. If fact I am surprised at how bad Lichdom: Battlemage is, the trailer looked amazing when I was thinking about buying it at full price. Glad I didn't, I mean why can I not jump in 2016?

Anyway The Boy and his Blob wins my vote. I find I want to play it more than skyrim lately which is really surprising.

You know, it's "A Boy", not "The Boy" ;)
