I really dislikie hot sunny days. I hate the feeling of sweating and the way it makes my clothes stick to my body. I hate the way, when the sun is really bright, it bleaches all the colour out of my vision and, along with the wall of heat I step into outside, it takes over my senses and I feel overloaded.

Here in the UK there is a small heatwave (not as warm as many parts of the world I'm sure but hot for me). The weather woman on the TV was saying lots of happy phrases about the warm weather and I felt like throwing something at the her. It's generally assumed I think that everyone loves hot sunny weather but that's not true, I really don't like it at all. Thank goodness I live in England - come the summer holidays it'll probably rain! Yay!

If I lived in Westeros I'd take the black!

Anyone else feel like this, or perhaps have a liking for weather which the majority of people, seem to dislike?

I can't stand hot sunny days. I blister easily and even without blistering my skin gets very itchy and prickly with direct sunlight on it. And everything looks so washed out I can't see very well. The worst thing is when I get out of my car at a place that has really light colored pavement, it is absolutely blinding. I can also get lightheaded very easily in the heat so I start blacking out a bit. So it's like my vision is flashing between a mild blackout and the blinding brightness of everything.

I've never understood why people seem to like hot weather and want to be outside in it or want to take their beach vacations at the hottest, most unbearable and miserable time of year. I just can't fathom how anyone can enjoy it. We went to the beach during summer a few times when I was a kid and I just remember it being a misery.

I live in the southeastern US and we just had a short burst of cool, cloudy weather that was wonderful. Now it is back to being hot. We get hot weather in spring here or sometimes even in the middle of winter. When we have one of those unexpectedly sunny days, other people will say oh don't you just love this warm weather we're having. I feel like cussing them out because it seems like they forget we're going to get a long summer full of hot, humid, miserable weather.

I appreciate the cold a lot more than I used to. I like rainy weather and I really love the negative ions that come with rain. I like gray overcast days. I like the snow we get around once a year. I like storms so long as there's no threat of a tornado. I like feeling a mix of warm and cool currents in the air. I don't even mind if the sun comes out for awhile as long it goes back behind the clouds for awhile. I like it best when the weather changes several times in one day. I just don't like the extremes of either hot or cold. And my threshold for what feels hot or cold seems to be a lot more sensitive than it is for other people.

I can't stand the heat either.

I'm actually planning what to wear for work tomorrow because all of a sudden it's become really warm.

I really hate all of that too. And it makes me so lethargic.
Another thing I hate about summer is flies.

Yeah I too find it aggravating the way they make it sound like now we'll all be cheering because we all love sunny hot weather. It escalates the bad mood the heat alone causes. Same when they make a little rain sound like a tragedy. I love me some rain.

I too easily get sun burned. And I get sun eczema.

Of course, in spring and summer there is also pollen, which can wreak havoc on my asthma, nose, ears and eyes, and winter dry air inside isn't good for my dry skin, and winter cold isn't good for my asthma.Thank heavens for autumn!

I have found the perfect house for hot sunny days. It is dark and very cool in my living room. The sun comes through the window early in the morning so by the time the sun is a major problem it is around the back of the house.

If I was in a house with the sun coming through the windows all day I would have to shut my curtains and hide away

I love this hot sunny weather. I've been in shorts and t-shirt all weekend and it's been lovely.

I do like the rain, more so in the winter time, but a bit of summer rain is nice.

I feel the cold more, so that is why I love the warmer weather. Too much cold literally hurts me, too much heat can be uncomfortable but more bearable for me. Also my ears and sinuses work better in the heat.

Well I've got all my windows open to try and keep cool because I just had my tea and now I'm pissing in sweat.

I love sunny days. The sun on my skin just makes me feel so immediately calm.

If I could, I'd move to somewhere with much better weather! I've really enjoyed this weekend, though!

Right now, it's about 60 degrees (F) outdoors, with an overcast sky, a brisk wind, and high humidity. :D

No rain, though. :(

I hate sunny weather, and I know exactly what you mean about wanting to throw something at the weather people who go on and on about what a beautiful day it is and how everyone should be outside. No thank you! A beautiful day to me is one where it's cool and rainy out. My dad used to tease me and say, "It's a good day for ducks and (my name)!" when it was like that outside.

I live in a very hot and humid place, but thankfully we have the wet season in the summer, which helps cut down on the sun somewhat.

I relate with everything you wrote. I do not like the heat and I’m quite photo phobic so I don’t much care for bright light ether. When I was younger I used to sleep with the window open all winter long.

I particularly like rain and snow because rain and snow does not bother me and it keeps most people, who do bother me, indoors. Snow days are not as good as having the world all to myself but the next best thing.

Me too.

I work outside and it was warm last week so I wanted to change into my shorts from my jeans during a lull in the workday. I was told that I had to wait until my break (that manager was a little grumpy that day), but the thing is, I live near the water and on the windward side of a mountain so it is always colder (and rainier) at home than work. I asked a coworker who lives in the same general area and he agreed with me. Anyways, my jeans were getting sticky and starting to bug me, but I couldn't do anything about it.

I never realized how sensitive I was was to the heat until last year when I discussing it with a couple of coworkers and pretty much all of them preferred warmer temperatures than me, in fact, one day when I was complaining about the heat, my coworker was complaining about how cool it was and mentioned she liked it around 34 degrees celsius, and it rarely, if ever gets that hot where I live.

The funny thing is I am not sensitive to the cold at all and prefer rain over extreme heat (which I consider like 30 degrees or more).

I don't dislike sunny days. Even if it's hitting 50+ C, I don't mind.

.. But right now, if my place reaches 60+ C (140+ F), I might start complaining about it.

I hate the heat as well, Here it gets very hot and then If I don't put the air con on I get lethargic, at least we're in Autumn now and today we're actually having some rain It's been so dry.

I think the Sun is overrated but as soon as we get a cloudy day all the sun worshippers start complaining that there's no sun even though we always have it.
