What are your favorite Game Shows if you have any?

Mine is Jeopardy! and The Price Is Right. Also Wheel of Fortune. TPIR is my favorite.

We have a lot in common, pizzaboss. I like those gameshows, too.

Jeopardy by far: It's the pinnacle of all game shows. Either you can answer the question, or in Jeopardy's case question the answer, or not. At least the show requires versatility in knowledge, challeging questions and the quick finger on the buzzer after reading the clue.

The Price is Right: Probably one of the longest lasting concepts in game show history needing not to be fixed. At least contestants have to know or least attempt to guess the retail value, which can be pretty tricky. I can't believe Bob Barker is still hosting even at this ripe-old age of 80-something. He'll probably keep hosting until his soul leaves his body anywhere, anytime, anyplace.

Who wants to be a Jillionaire (I mean millionaire): I watch this show sprangly, but even though it feels easy at home, playing for real can be intimidating. Sometimes I just want to yell, hurry up answer the darn question. If I don't know the question, I probably go the computer and do a quick Google or quick shot to a dictionary site.

Jeopardy is my favorite game show.

I don't really care for Wheel of Fortune. Pat Sajak annoys me for some reason... :x

You all must think that game shows of intellect are your kind of game shows because you are very smart.

I'll think you'd find that anyone of true intellect would rather gut themselves with a rusty pencil sharpener than watch a game show of any kind, but anyway.....

Tafkash:

Are you saying that you would rather not watch a game show?

I despise Wheel of Fortune, it's gotten really stupid lately. They categorize puzzles badly. I haven't seen it (yet), but I'm sure bathroom is an "Event".

Anyways, I like "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" and "Jeopardy" the most. I only have 10 channels, so I don't get to watch gameshows that often.

r u sayin im not a intelectual???????

Seriously, I'm a huge fan of word-based games, except for WOF, which is a furkin' circus lately. Sajak, interestingly enough, is the least annoying part of it for me. He seems vastly underutilized. Password, Pyramid, and even the long-lost ones like Chain Reaction and Go strike a chord in me (and with the right players they can be downright hysterical). For trivia, The Joker's Wild and Jeopardy are faves. Family Feud is great just to see how stupid people can be under pressure.

Rakkety:

Survivor? Wow! I wasn't expecting that to come out of you!

I think Wheel of Fortune has gotten slightly stupid, too. I also don't like the way they catergorize puzzle. Though, how do you react when someone wins $100,000?

No, I mean that. I will say, without making anyone angry, that I am a traditional game show kind of person.
