Congrats! I think it'll take me about six more years to reach that number.

I think I would be ashamed to have a post count like that. The overview is like, have they got nothing better to do or maybe it's just they need to be noticed (hence the proclamation). I use a forum for advice and help, nothing more.

I do agree with the part I have put in bold. Frankly I think it'll take me ages to even reach 1000, I have a few posts each day and then go off, any more and it is an addiction. I don't want this to be an addiction: I have a life to live and better things to do. However, KTG doesn't really now post a huge amount each day in his defence, and he has been here a long time, posts just accumulate over time. There are some members here who you really wonder if they do anything except go on here all day, which is slightly sad if you ask me.

Yes I agree and it could become an addiction like a lot of things.

And so please, I mean no disrespect to KyleTheGhost, my observation is a general overview of what on forums can be known as postwhoring.

There's people on here with 50+ posts per day. It's about as close to spamming as one can get without it technically being spam.

How can you quantify that? Who sets the line whether it's 50 or 100 posts per day?

No one, it's a matter of opinion. They're allowed to post however much they like, but frankly I don't see how one gets enjoyment from sitting on a forum all day. I post a bit each day, a few posts. It's a bit of relaxation for me, I enjoy it, there's a lot of friendly people on here. But there is such thing as overkill.

I've learned to stay out of threads that I don't like.
