Yes, and i'm quite good at it, know several ways to exploit the zombie AI to stay safe during the night.

I really want to play it however I can not really afford the $20 for it after I take care of all my essentials first.

That's what the steam summer sales are for. Or you can think of it as an investment since the game is pretty awesome, even though the graphics are not top notch. It IS one of the better zombie apocalypse games out there and there are many mods that extend the gameplay.

I'm thinking of making my own mod that removes all zombies groups from the entitygroups.xml file and add more bears/deer and turn the dogs into wolves so it becomes more of a pure outdoors/farming/survival simulator - but with multiplayer.

I havent played it. It looks ok I guess? It feels like just survival, base building and fighting zombies? I really feel like those things are done to death in video games these days. :/

I thought the same, but this one is actually good, even though the subject have been overdone. Multiplayer enhances the experience a bit - well, if you play coop with your friends and not with a bunch of asshats who are just out to destroy.

It's still early access so, and i'm sort of weary about those games, but at least they are still updating it (and breaking things from time to time).
