Just to clarify before I start this thread that I am not gay

Saw goldeneye the other night and do you guys agree with me that Pierce Brosnan as James Bond in that film was arguably the best looking man in the world?

He did look pretty snazzy, smooth as an eel encased in a jellied dinghy. Marlon Brando in his prime is one of the best looking dudes I've seen, I like gals but I am never afraid to admire a guy's looks.

Sean Bean's venomous tirades in the film don't half make me laugh, he's SO bitter with 007.

I used to play the golden eye n64 game religiously, those faceless henchmen never fail to amuse me with their pathetic death throes tumbling down and grunting hoarsely. Jungle is a hell of a level to complete on harder difficulties!

I saw Goldeneye on a plane the year it came out, whilst I was traveling with my parents on a family vacation. I'd been watching 007 films since I was in diapers, and Brosnan's debut -- following a string of unwatchable duds like A View to a Kill and The Living Daylights, and after years of nothing -- came as quite a shock. As such, and also considering my overall affinity for the time period, there is a fair degree of nostalgia to color any proper objective analysis of the film. (I will say that it was good enough for child me to forget all about my fear of flying.)

But after years of contemplation, I must conclude that Brosnan delivers my favorite interpretation of the character. He is arguably the most debonair of the bunch...lethal, but ultra-classy in all things and without being too foppish about it. Unlike the charmless action heroes we have today...

Some "Silent Assassin" grade stealthiness right here:

I'm not gay either but he is one smooth, good-looking mofo. Probably the best looking Bond.

But Craig and Connery were closer to what Ian Flemming had in mind...
