Meeting people of your interests isn't the same as "finding love".

And it'll depend on what your interests are; is it something online like video gaming, or is it something you just like to talk about (there are message boards for everything), or something location-specific (e.x. if your interest is... Tai Chi, but there are no schools in your location you may just have to find something else in your area).
