My name is Joe and I am 21. i had a doctor tell me that I match all the criteria for having ASD and that I needed to go get checked out. A week ago I had a 7-hour evaluation done on me by UMSL and all of this is starting to become real. I'm not diagnosed officially yet but I came upon this site after researching ASD and specifically Aspergers as that is what the Psychiatrist thinks that I most closely resemble. But regardless of the outcome, everyone that I have ever read on here sounds really cool and I'm really really terrible with the whole "having friends in public" thing but part of me wants to at least make contact with other people like me to bounce ideas off of. So that's why I am here typing this post.
